Welcome to
Pivotal Story Spotlight

Sometimes the answers we’re looking for are already there —
held quietly inside the stories of our lives.
Story Spotlight is an invitation to notice them.
Once a fortnight, you’ll receive three story prompts.
Choose as many as you like.
Nothing to submit.
No feedback.
No pressure to share.
Each prompt acts like a spotlight — briefly illuminating a moment, a memory, or an experience that holds meaning for you. Often, that’s enough to notice something you already know, but haven’t yet articulated.

A LIFE LIVED
You’ve lived a life made up of:
moments of connection and loss,
certainty and confusion,
belonging and distance,
joy, disappointment, and everything in between.
Story Spotlight doesn’t ask you to explain or resolve any of it.
It simply invites you to notice how you tell the stories that already exist — in writing, out loud, or just in your own thoughts.
Write if you wish.
Speak if you wish.
Or simply notice.

WHAT STORY SPOTLIGHT IS (AND ISN’T)
Story Spotlight is:
- a fortnightly email with prompts to explore. It is
- a personal reflective practice
- a way to reconnect with your own voice
- a low-pressure space to notice meaning
Story Spotlight is not:
- coaching
- therapy
- feedback or critique
- a requirement to share anything with anyone
WHY PEOPLE USE IT
People come to Story Spotlight for many reasons:
- to build confidence with story
- to reflect on experience
- to reconnect with their voice
- to notice patterns that matter to them
There’s no outcome to achieve here.
Just attention.
